Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2020, one of the largest technology exhibitions in the world, is taking place from 7-10 January 2020. Here, various technology companies are showing off new innovations on their products, including laptop products.
Many manufacturers offer the best laptop variants with new features at this exhibition. Here are the best laptops on display at CES 2020, as quoted by Zdnet.
1. Samsung Galaxy Chromebook
Samsung Galaxy Chromebook is a premium laptop designed to rival the GooglePixelbook that carries the Chrome OS. This laptop is the thinnest on the Chromebook series and will be released between January-March 2020.
Galaxy Chromebook offers a 13.3-inch AMOLED screen with 4K UHD resolution (3840×2160). This variant is also equipped with a 10th generation Intel Core i5 processor, 16GB RAM, SSD1TB storage, and has a price of USD1,000.
2. Samsung Galaxy Book FlexAlpha
Samsung GalaxyBook Alpha Flex is a new variant of the GalaxyBook Flex series. This variant will be sold between January-June 2020.
The Samsung GalaxyBook Flex Alpha offers a 13.3-inch QLED screen with FHD resolution (1920×1080). This variant is also equipped with a 10th generation Intel CometLake CPU, 12GB RAM, 512GB SSD storage, and has a price of USD829.
3. Elite Dragonfly HP
HP Elite Dragonfly was first released in September 2019. However, HP has launched a new improved version that includes 5G capabilities and the Tiletracker feature.
4. HP Specter X360 15
HP showed off an updated version of the Specter x360 15 which was released in 2019. This variant offers a 15.6-inch OLED screen with 4K resolution and has a price of USD1,559.
5. Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Fold
Lenovo finally launched the world’s first folding screen laptop called theinkpad X1 Fold. This laptop will go on sale in mid-2020.
The Thinkpad X1 Fold has a 13.3-inch OLED screen, runs Windows 10, and uses an Intel Core processor. This variant is priced at USD2,500.
6. Lenovo X1 Carbon
Lenovol launches the 8th generation Thinkpad X1 Carbon with more new features. Not yet known when this laptop will be released, but certainly will be released in 2020.
X1 Carbon will be powered by Intel’s 10th generation CPU (CometLake) Core i5 and Core i7, including the vPro version. This variant presents a screen with 4K HDR resolution (3840×2160) and is priced at USD1,499.
7. Lenovo Legion Y740S
Legion Y740S is claimed to be the thinnest and lightest laptopgaming at the moment. This laptop will be available from May 2020.
The Legion Y740S has a 15.6-inch 4K IPS screen with a brightness level of 600nits. This variant is equipped with a 10th generation Intel Core processor, can last up to 8 hours, and is priced at $ 1,100.
8. Lenovo Lavie Pro Mobile
Lenovo showcases the latest version of the Lightweight Lavie laptop that carries the Windows 10 OS. Lenovo Lavie Pro Mobile will be marketed in March 2020.
This model has a screen size of 13.3 inches and has a light weight, which is 1.85 pounds or 0.83 kg equivalent. Lenovo Lavie Pro Mobile can be priced at $ 1,599.
